This is my design for a builder's house. The common method in towns was to build a house frame, fill it in with woven grass mats and pack mud and straw as a sort of stucco in between the beams. That is a hard thing to make visually attractive and fun. As with all of the designs, we tried to make every person's dwelling reflect their occupation.
